Hello Fabulous Fourth Grade Families!

I cannot believe that the school year is almost over, and that it is the first full week of May! It was so lovely to see so many of you at WINGO on Friday night! 

Below you will find what we will be doing for each subject this week: 

ELA: This week we will read the Storyworks test, The Magical History of Movies. We will be working on the skill of text features and connecting texts. There will be a comprehension vocabulary test on Friday. 

Math: This week we will complete Module 17: identifying triangles and quadralaterails. Be sure to check google classroom for helpful handouts and videos that review the steps to solve the equations for the module There will be a take home quiz for HW THursday night, and a test on Friday 5/8.

Religion: In religion we will contuine Unit 3: God rises up leaders. 

Social Studies: There will be a S.S. test on Tuesday 5/5. We will also be starting Unit 7: NY transforms.  

Science: This week we continue ourt unit of study, Electricity, Heat, and Light. We will be exploring forms of energy focusing on the question, how long did it take to travel across the country before cars and planes.
