Hello Fabulous Fourth Grade Families!

I cannot believe that Friday is May 1st. The year is flying by! I hope to see many of you at WINGO on Friday night. 

Below you will find what we will be doing for each subject this week: 

ELA: This week we will read the Report Card by Andrew Clements. There will be a spelling test on Friday 5/1. We will be sharing our narrative stories this week, as well as writing a fun narrative paragraph a day. In grammar we continue our study of adjectives and adverbs. 

Math: This week we will complete Module 16: multiplying fractions Be sure to check google classroom for helpful handouts and videos that review the steps to solve the equations for the module There will be a quiz on 5/1.

Religion: In religion we will begin Unit 3: God rises up leaders. 

Social Studies: In S.S. We begin chapter 6- Social Change and the Civil War. Our Civil War Biography Project is due on 4/29. There will be a S.S. test on Tuesday 5/5.  

Science: This week we begin our next unit of study, Electricity, Heat, and Light. We will be exploring alternate forms of energy focusing on the question, what if there was no electricity
