This Week in Art:

PreK ~ We will be painting the Fall and Spring dandelion flower.

Kindergarten ~ the class will be listening to the read-a-long book Mouse Paint and wil be making a Primary and Secondary color wheel.

Gr. 1 ~ First grade will continue their color wheel study by mixing up Primary and Secondary colors on their Color Wheel Turtle sheets.

Gr. 2 ~ This is our final day to work on our Hicksville Water District posters for the Conserve Water Contest.

Gr. 3 ~ We are working on our posters for the Hicksville Water District Conserve Water poster contest.

Gr. 4 ~ We will be discussing Scale in Composition by looking at a short video clip of A Bug’s Life (movie).  Then the class will draw a scene showing scale with a bug and its environment.

Gr. 5 ~ We are starting our posters for the Hicksville Water District poster contest.

Gr. 6 ~ This class will be adding assorted assemblage to their 3D pyramid “pets.”

Gr. 7 ~ The class will be coloring the realistic side to their split-face self portraits.

Gr. 8 ~ We will be starting a new project utilizing fingerprints and a creative mind.

Art Elective ~ the class is working on their amusement parks.
