Dear Parents,
We had the best day on Friday celebrating with our friends in class, playing games, and trick or treating in the ECC hallways!

This coming week, we will be learning about the letter C for Community.  The children will be able to recognize, sound out, and write the letter C.  The theme for this week will be community helpers. We will discuss the different types of community helpers and why they are so important to our community!  🚒 We are so excited to get a visit from the Hicksville Fire Department on Wednesday.  The firefighters will discuss the importance of fire safety.  Since Veterans Day is the following week, the ECC classes will be making thank you cards for veterans.  The cards will then be delivered to the Veteran’s Hall to be given out to our brave veterans.  The children will be learning about the color blue this week.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:

• November 5th – Hicksville Fire Department visits Trinity’s ECC!
• November 6th – Wear the color Green in support of Dwarfism
• November 11th – NO SCHOOL for Veterans Day
• November 17th – Picture retake day
• November 25th – School wide Thanksgiving Feast
• November 26th through 28th- NO SCHOOL for Thanksgiving Recess
• November 30th – Advent Begins
