Dear Parents,

We had a great week talking about Thanksgiving and what we are all thankful for.  We have been replacing our snack and lunch prayers with what we are thankful for, and lots of our friends are thankful for food!

This coming week, we will start presenting our “Disguise a Turkey” crafts.  The children had some very creative ideas!  We will start  presenting them on Monday so please be sure to send them in. The children also made placemats and cute turkey hats for our Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday.  It’s going to be lots of fun and please have your child wear their Trinity t-shirt.

Since this is a short week coming up, we will not introduce a new letter; however, we will reinforce the letters we have learned so far.  We will pick up on letters after the Thanksgiving Break.  We will continue discussing the importance of giving thanks during this Thanksgiving season.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:

• November 25th – School wide Thanksgiving Feast (Please have your child wear their Trinity T-shirts). 
• November 26th through 28th – NO SCHOOL for Thanksgiving Break
• November 30th – Advent begins
• Please don’t forget to send in your child’s “Disguise a Turkey” craft so we can present them in school on Monday.
