Dear Parents,
It was so nice meeting with you all for parent/teacher conferences and discussing your child’s wonderful progress.  We will continue working on letter and number recognition and begin introducing scissor-cutting activities to support the children’s fine motor development.

This coming week, we will learn about the letter “N” for Narwhal.  We will also begin learning about Arctic animals, beginning with Narwhals.  We will also find out where they live and how they survive in their habitat.  The children will also make a fun Narwhal craft.

For math instruction and to help with their children’s number recognition, we will play a fun “Winter Mitten Match” game.  We will write the numbers on one mitten and draw snowflakes on another.  The children will match the number to the correct snowflake mitten.

For Religious instruction, the children will learn about the Baptism of Jesus.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:

• January 26th – January 30th (SPIRIT WEEK)
• January 26th – Pajama Day
• January 27th – Joyful Day (Where clothing that is brightly colored or has “loud” patterns).
• January 28th – Dress your best
• January 29th – Zoom meeting (Dress professionally on top and casual on the bottom).  Ex. Blouse on top and sweatpants on the bottom.
• January 30th – Future/Past Self Day (Dress how you picture yourself in the future or how you dressed as a baby).
