This Week in Art

PreK ~  We’re making Polar Bear Masks out of paper plates, tissue paper, empty fruit cups and pom-poms!

Kindergarten ~ the class will be making pinch pots out of clay

Gr. 1 ~ this week we will finish up our “Shades of Red” magazine collage

Gr. 2 ~ 5 will all be working on their drawings for the Food Friends Art Contest.

Gr. 6 ~ this week we’ll be working on creating an authentic African Mask

Gr. 7 ~ for the next few weeks the class will be working on weaving using a cardboard loom.  They will be making a little Mug Rug.

Gr. 8 ~ the Eighth grade will be working on their Profile Collages

Art Elective ~ we are making paper heart sculptures just in time for Valentine’s Day!
