This Week in Art

ECC ~ using stencils, tracing skills

Kindergarten ~ we will be finishing our Nativity scenes

Gr. 1 ~ the class will add red berries, mini pine cones and a bow to their Christmas wreaths

Gr. 2 ~ the class will be taking turns at the paint station to spongepaint poinsettia flowers

Gr. 3 ~ the class will be coloring their Christmas scenes (the Annunciation, the Shepherds, the Nativity, the Wise Men).

Gr. 4 ~ the students will be creating an abstract design of an angel using cool and warm colors

Gr. 5 ~ the class will learn about the art of tin sculpture and will create a pie tin angel

Gr. 6 ~ students will be dividing up into pairs to work on a Giant Collaborative Nutcracker

Gr. 7 ~ the class will learn about the art of logo design and will create a logo that advertises their fictional business/store.

Gr. 8 ~ the students will draw a gingerbread house using 1-point perspective technique.

Art Elective ~ the class will finish up the construction of their amusement/waterparks
