This Week in Art

PreK ~ The children will talk about the shapes and lines in Kandinsky’s Concentric Circles painting.  They will make an original “Circle” painting of their own.

Kindergarten ~ This week the class will make a Leaf People Collage using real leaves of different colors and shapes.

Gr. 1 ~ The class will start a multi-media collage where they will “star” in their own artwork.

Gr. 2 ~ Second Grade will be working on their folk art project.

Gr. 3,4 and 5 will be painting their Thanksgiving centerpieces this week.

Gr. 6 ~ We will start a Sports Jersey design project.

Gr. 7 ~ The class is working on their Word Art construction paper collage.

Gr. 8 ~ The class will continue their cornucopia still life drawings.

Art Elective ~ the students are working in pairs to build a amusement park out of cardboard paper rolls.
