This Week in Art

PreK ~ this week we will add the finishing touches onto our Snowy Day scenes by painting Peter’s footsteps in the snow.

Kindergarten ~ we will finish up our drawings depicting a type of weather system, ex. stormy, snowy, windy, sunny day.

Gr. 1 ~ we will be creating a Shades of Red magazine collage

Gr. 2 ~ the class will be working on the Food Friends art contest

Gr. 3 ~ we will be finishing up our mini macchia art project

Gr. 4, 5 and 6 ~ are all working on the Food Friends art contest

Gr. 7 ~ the class will be starting a unit on weaving.  They will be weaving a mug rug on a cardboard loom.

Gr. 8 ~ we are still working on our Profile collages

Art Elective ~ the class is working on making a hanging paper valentine decoration
