With Halloween on Friday, we are going to enjoy a spooky week of ‘not so scary’ monster stories and monster inspired activities.  As we enjoy monsters stories, we will also discuss feelings, emotions and ways to cope with difficult situations and unpleasant emotions.  We will also sing the fingerplay, “The Five Scary Monsters” and enjoy making monster mash cookies.  On Friday, the students can wear Halloween pajamas and we will enjoy a simple ‘not so scary’ monster party.

In addition, our core concepts of the week are Letter Ff, the number eight, the shape of an octagon, the color purple and the math concept:  How many?  Our ABCs of Faith for the week are F is for  Faith, Father (in heaven), Forgive, and Family.
