The Pre-K News: Week of December 8th

This past Sunday we lit the second candle on the Advent wreath, the candle of peace.  We reflect on the peace that the holiday season brings us and we are inspired to work to create a more peaceful world.  We will also learn more about the natural habitat of the North Pole and of the arctic animals that call the North Pole home.  Our letter of the week is letter Kk and our ABCs of Faith is K is for Kingdom, King, Kind and Kiss.

This week, we will enjoy a week of holiday dress up fun.  On Monday wear your ugly Christmas sweater. Tuesday is Grinch Day – wear your favorite Grinch outfit or red and green.  Wednesday, please wear your most comfortable Christmas flannel.  Thursday is elf yourself day.  Dress like an Elf.  Finally on Friday, dress in your holiday best.  We will have a birthday party for Jesus in the classroom.
