The Pre-K News: Week of December 15th

Christmas is coming and we are almost ready for all the holiday festivities to begin.  This week, we lite the third candle on the Advent wreath, the candle of joy.  We reflect on the joy that Christ’s birth fills us with and we are inspired to share the joy of the season with one another through traditions, good food, gift giving and lots of holiday cheer!  We will experience Christmas joy this week as we celebrate many exciting holiday traditions.  We will read several classic tales including The Polar Express and The Night Before Christmas and continue making Christmas crafts to give to our loved ones.  On Tuesday, our class will put on a Christmas Show at 9:15 am.  There will be a light reception afterwards in the MPR with a special visit from Santa Claus.  On Friday, please wear your best holiday pajamas.  We will enjoy a special holiday movie with milk and cookies.  Our letter of the week is letter Ll. Our ABCs of Faith for the week is L is for Love, Lord, Lamb and Light.

Important Upcoming Dates:
