We are very much looking forward to our trip to White Post Farm on Friday. We have been learning a lot about pumpkins as we prepare for our visit, but will also begin studying about dinosaurs since there is a dinosaur exhibit at the farm, as well.
School photos will be taken on Tuesday.
A Module 3 math test will be given on Tuesday, and a spelling test will be given on Thursday.
This week, we will also be
- Learning about Moses and his people in the wilderness, the conquest of Canaan, and Othnel in Religion
- Reading stories about friendship, exploring story elements, working with blends and closed syllables, strengthening our recognition of high-frequency words, and identifying and using subjects in simple sentences in ELA
- Finishing Module 3 Data and beginning Module 4 Place Value in Math
- Beginning ‘People, Places, and Nature” in Social Studies by using maps to locate places
Read-alouds will consist of a variety of fiction and non-fiction books with pumpkin, harvest, and dinosaur themes.
Specials will include Library, Art, SEL, PE, Spanish, and Music. We will miss Computer on Friday due to the field trip. We will be attending Chapel on Wednesday. Your child will be provided with an offering envelope on Tuesday to take home.
May our precious Lord bless our week together,
Mrs. Nekota
