Students did an outstanding job on their personal narratives. Their work is posted in the hallway. They also created flags, maps, and other documents about five countries in Africa to conclude our celebration of Black History Month.
There are two exciting events happening this week:
- The Scholastic Book Fair comes to our school this week. You were sent information about this event previously. Our class is scheduled to visit the Book Fair in the Multi-Purpose Room on Wednesday.
- We will be participating schoolwide in the Read Across America program. ELA homework this week will consist of reading and reporting on two chapter books which your child will bring home. There will be no new spelling words this week.
For those who have registered, there will be Art Enrichment on Tuesday, Cooking Enrichment on Thursday, and Super Sports on Friday after school this week. Students enrolled in Art and Cooking will be in PLUS until these classes begin at 4.
There will be a Dress Down Day on Friday to support the yearbook. To participate, students need to bring $5. The office is unable to make change.
There will be a Module 13 math test on Thursday.
