Christmas is almost here!
We hope to see all of you at the Christmas Program on Tuesday evening. Your child should arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 pm. There will be no homework on Tuesday.
Your child will be bringing home their crayons to do their math homework several times. Crayons should be returned to school each day.
There will be a Dress Down Day on Friday. $5 is required to participate. We are unable to make change.
There will be a Module 9 test on time on Monday and spelling and money tests on Thursday.
This week, we will be
- Discovering how Christ’s birth is celebrated in Sweden and the Philippines in Religion
- Exploring poetry, themes, sequencing, and suffixes in ELA
- Reviewing money concepts
- Continuing with our study of governments and learning about Kwanzza and other holiday traditions in Social Studies
Read-alouds will include
- The Gingerbread Man
- The Night Before Christmas
- My First Kwanzaa Book
- Corduroy
- Must Be Santa
Specials will be Library, Art, Critters, PE, Spanish, and Music. We will be attending Chapel on Wednesday. Your child will be provided with an offering envelope on Tuesday to take home.
