5th Grade Spanish: This week the students will continue learning to read and speak through storytelling with Interact-A-Story 1 and slowing reading Berto and Sus Buenas Ideas chapter 1.

6th Grade Spanish: This week the students will start chapter 2 of the novel, Berto and Sus Buenas Ideas. They will continue learning to speak with Interact-A-Story 1, Section 4 with the core vocabulary es, esta, tiene, quiere, dice and hay.

7th Grade Spanish: This week the students will continue reading the novel ‘Seis Meses de Soledad‘ Chapter 5. They will also practice speaking and writing through picture talk. They will continue practice using the vocabulary: es, esta, tiene, quiere, dice and hay.

8th Grade Spanish: They will also practice talking and writing about themselves and their family. I will continue introducing the 16 most commonly used verbs (sweet 16 verbs) in 1st and 3rd person through picture talk, student Interviews and short story summaries.

6th Grade – Food Truck Project: The students will work on creating a business memo for their food truck project.

7th Grade – Restaurant Entrepreneur: Students will create an  memo to their new employees.

8th Grade – Survey Questionnaire: Students will fill out the surveys of their classmates.
