Hi everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. We are at the last week before Christmas break. A couple reminders we have our Polar Express pajama day on Friday! This is a free dress down for the kids to wear their pajamas while we watch the movie. Another reminder is to please bring in your wrapped book by Tuesday so they get a gift from Santa.

Spelling – 3x each due Wednesday and our spelling test will be on Friday. Our new spelling words this week are: like, spike, bike, ride, hide, mine, make, came, water, should

Math – We will continue module 6. Our next test wont be till after the break.

ELA – Our reading test will be on Thursday. Our story this week is The Big Yuca Plant. This week we will learn about long i vowel with magic e. We will learn about adding plurals to the end of our words with magic e. We will also learn about present tense verbs. Our HF words are: green, grow, together, should, pretty, water.

Writing – We will writing in our journals one thing we want for Christmas. We will also be writing about what our favorite part of the Polar Express is.

Science – We will learn about emperor penguins.

Religion – We are still on unit 4. We are also going to do a booklet of the birth of Jesus.
