Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. Our new spelling words this week are: rice, nice, page, age wedge, ledge, like, ride, from, once
Math – We are having our module 6 review day on Monday and our math test on Tuesday. Then, we will start module 7, Understand Compare Problems.
ELA – Our reading test is on Thursday. Our new story this week is “The Gingerbread Man”. We are going to learn about the new sounds soft c and soft g. When c and g are in front of e, i, and y, they will make their soft sound. C will say /s/ and g and -dge will say /j/. We will also learn about adding -ed and -ing to words that end in an e. We will learn about the future tense. Our HF words are
Writing – We will do some reading comprehension and continue practice answering questions in complete sentences.
Social Studies – We will learn about maps and cardinal directions.
Religion – We are still in unit 4 and learning about Daniel in the Lions Den and Jeremiah.
