I hope everyone had a great warm weekend, I cannot believe June is here!

Language Arts- This week we will begin Unit 10 our final unit of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, What can happen when we work together? we will read, What’s the Big Idea, Molly? We will learn the sight word – ‘come’ and focus on the long Uu sounds. We will continue to determine the missing sounds in CVC words, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups and have reading homework. We will continue to review all the different word families and read them in our reading groups.

Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and CVC words.

Math- This week we will finish Module 18- Numbers to 20 and have a test on Tuesday; then begin Chapter 19- Measurement: Comparing Length and Height.

Math Centers- We will practice measuring class items and read world objects.

Jesus Time- We have completed the whole Bible! Now we will go back and read some of our favorite stories and watch new videos to bring those stories to life.

Science: We will learn about different types of matter- solid, liquid, and gas.

Answer: Nothing. They fast!

See you on Wednesday at 8:30am for our Moving Up Ceremony and we will have a small reception after in the classroom to celebrate!

Field Day is Friday, June 5th, please dress your child in their assigned color! Have a great week!
