This is a short week. Our Thanksgiving Feast will take place on Tuesday afternoon. There is no school Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving Break.

If you have not yet done so, please send in the field trip permission slip and payment.

5th Grade Social Studies – Students will have a quiz on Lessons 3 and 4 on Monday. After the Thanksgiving Break, there will be a Chapter 3 test on Tuesday or Wednesday. A study guide will be sent home this week.

5th Grade Science – Our water cycle activity last week was a highlight, and we enjoyed several great “aha!” moments. This week we will begin Lesson 8: The Atmosphere and Weather.

5th Grade Religion – This week we begin a new unit, God Raises Up Leaders. In Lesson 18, we will focus on Gideon and how God cares for us and helps us in our troubles.

6th Grade Math – On Monday and Tuesday, we will continue working on solving percent word problems.

6th Grade Earth Science – Students have their Chapter 4 test on Monday.
