Remember this is a short week.  We are off on Tuesday for Veterans Day and there are no classes on Friday due to parent/ teacher conferences.  

5th Grade Social Studies – Starting Chapter 3 Lesson 4 on The Pilgrims and the Puritans in New England and will end the week with the Mayflower Compact. 

5th Grade Science – We moved the Critter Room activity to this week.  This activity will be how the critters interact with Earth’s four spheres.  The students will be gathering data points and the activity will end with a poster of the critter which will be displayed.  

5th Grade Religion – Our class is responsible for the Chapel service this week.  We will also start Lesson 16 – Moses Strikes a Rock (we should not blame others for our misfortune).

6th Grade Math – Continue with decimals.  There will be a test on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals on Thursday, November 13.  The pilot for using Thatquiz is going well and the students are becoming familiar with the tool.  More information to follow.  

6th Grade Earth Science – Starting section 4.3 Sedimentary Rocks.  The quiz will be on Thursday, November 13.
