Reminder: This is a short week! Easter Recess will take place from April 2–12.

5th Grade Social Studies – The Chapter 5 test has been moved to Tuesday. Students already have their study guide. On Wednesday, we will begin a light introduction to Chapter 6, which focuses on the purpose of government in our new nation. We will explore this topic in more depth after the break.

5th Grade Science – The Astronomy Unit Test is scheduled for Monday. Beginning Tuesday, students will apply what they’ve learned about the solar system, planets, and space conditions through two engaging projects that encourage them to think like both scientists and explorers.

5th Grade Religion – After completing our lesson on the 12 Apostles, students will begin a creative project: Apostle Trading Cards. They will design, laminate, share, trade, and collect all 12 Apostles. Each student will take home a complete set stored in plastic sleeves. The unit test is scheduled for the Friday after break, and a study guide will be provided the Monday prior.

6th Grade Math – The Expressions Test has been moved to Monday. Our next unit will focus on adding and subtracting equations.

6th Grade Earth Science – The 9.3 vocabulary quiz is on Monday. Students will also continue working on their Volcano Bloom Ball projects.
