Reminder: The Middle School field trip to the Museum of Illusions is this Friday. Students should bring a paper bag lunch and may bring a small drawstring bag if needed. Please avoid sending large backpacks, as space on the bus is limited.

5th Grade Social Studies

We will continue our study of Life in the Colonies, focusing on natural resources and colonial trade routes.

5th Grade Science

We will work on two STEAM activities this week:

• Gingerbread Man Boat Challenge – Students will design and build a boat to keep a gingerbread man afloat.

• Candy Cane Science – Students will form a hypothesis, then observe and analyze what happens when a candy cane is submerged in water.

5th Grade Religion

We will complete our project on the Ark of the Covenant and begin Lesson 21, exploring the story of David, Jonathan, and Saul—highlighting how God gives us friends and teaches us to show love for one another.

6th Grade Math

There will be a statistics quiz on Tuesday covering measures of central tendency. We will also begin learning about Box-and-Whisker Plots.

6th Grade Earth Science

Students will have a vocabulary quiz on Tuesday for Section 5.3: Alternative Resources.
