Dear Parents,
We had such a great week and are really settling into our class routines and getting to know one another.  We enjoyed meeting many of the parents on Back To School Night and for those who were unable to attend, we hope you found the information sent home helpful and informative.
This past week, we the children learned about the letter “A” for Apple.  We sent home the letter can and made some fun apple crafts.  This week we visited Chapel and really enjoyed singing the Johnny Appleseed prayer.

This week the children will learn about the letter “F” for Fall. They will learn how to recognize, sound out, and trace the letter “F”.  We will celebrate the first day of the Fall season and make a fun Fall windsock. We will also send one of our friends home with the letter can and look forward to seeing what things that start with the letter F are sent in.  For religion we will begin to discuss and learn about God’s Creation.

• October 2nd – Field Trip to White Post Farms
• October 7th – School Picture Day
• October 13th – NO SCHOOL for Columbus Day
• October 24th – NO SCHOOL for Professional Development Day
• Please remember to empty your child’s folder each day.
• Please remember to label all of your child’s belongings.
