Dear Parents,

We had a wonderful week learning all about Earth Day. The children worked on a Scholastic that taught us the different ways we can take care of the Earth.  🌏 We also learned all about the letter E.

This week, the children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter Z for Zinnia.  The children leaned how “April showers” will bring “May flowers.” 🌺🌻  We will make some flower crafts to decorate our classroom.
We will continue working on our art projects for the upcoming art exhibition.  The projects are coming out beautifully, and the children are so excited for their families to see their work!

For religious instruction, the children will learn about the first Pentecost.

• May 1st – WINGO (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
• May 6th – Early Childhood Center Art Exhibition (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Trinity gym)
• May 20th – Special Person’s Day/Cultural Day
• May 21st – NO SCHOOL for Professional Development Day
• May 22nd through 25th – NO SCHOOL for Memorial Day weekend.  School resumes on Tuesday, May 26th.
• May 29th – ECC Picnic from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in Trinity Playground.
