ECC Nursery – Week of 3/9/26

Dear Parents,

We had such a great week during, “Read Across America!”  We learned all about the works of Dr. Seuss while dressing up and making silly crafts.  We also learned what it means to rhyme words.

This week we will learn about the letter R for rainbow.  The children will learn how to recognize, sound out, and write the letter R.  The children will work on their number skills with rainbow, number mats.  They will also be doing some fun, Spring crafts to get ready for the new season.  We will begin discussing Irish Culture since St. Patrick’s Day is the following Tuesday.

For religion the children will learn how Jesus stops a storm.  We will also continue talking about lent and our journey towards Easter Sunday, when we celebrate that Jesus is alive!
