Important Information
The “Stuffed” Animal Report came out great. I am so proud of all the students and their wonderful work!
Please make sure that your child brings a water bottle to school everyday.
All instruments need to come to school on lesson days and on Tuesday and Friday (band rehearsal days).
It is HOLY WEEK and we only have school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Academics
Math: We are learning about fractions. We are focusing on unit fractions and fractions as part of a whole. I will be sending home the classbook with students every night for additional guidance.
ELA: For Unit 5, Week 1 – 2 our essential question is “What do good citizens do?” The following is a list of everything we will be covering in ELA, including our vocabulary and spelling words. We are goiing to be reviewing Dolores Huerta this week, and our test on Elizabeth Stanton will be the Friday after vacation.

Social Studies: We are learning about taking actions for our rights. We will focus on Susan B. Anthony, Thurgood Marshall, and Eleanor Roosevelt.
Science: We are in the STEAM lab this week. We will be creating mazes.
Religion: Our focus this week in on Holy Week and the promise of Easter.
