I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
The weather has changed! Please make sure that your child comes to school with the appropriate attire to go outside for recess.
On Wednesday, we will be going to the Christmas Shop. In the past, the children have enjoyed going shopping and finding the perfect gift for you. I’m sure the tradition will continue. The paper and envelope were sent home last week. Please make sure that it is returned by Wednesday morning.
Mr. DeVries is working with the children preparing them for our Christmas show. It’s going to be on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:00.
Academics
Math: We are working on our division module. We will have a test on next Wednesday, December 10th. Additionally, please continue to review multiplication facts with your child.
ELA: We are beginning our read aloud, “The World According to Humphrey” by Betty G Birney.

Religion: We are learning about how God had chosen Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. He sent Moses, along with his brother Aaron, to meet Pharaoh and convience him to let God’s people leave Egypt. When Pharaoh didn’t listen, God sent the ten plagues.
Science: Students explore the idea that the rock under our feet sometimes contains fossils, and investigate how these fossils reveal changes in habitat through time.
