Grades 6-8:  This week officially kicks off our research paper.  Students will begin the work in the google classroom as a guided lesson and then will apply what we learn to their own paper.  They all have packets they will be working on in class.   Nothing should ever come home unless due to absences.  This week we will be looking at Lessons 1-3 in the google classroom.
The final paper will count for many classwork grades as we move through the process and the packet and then the final draft will count as 2 test grades.  A rubric for writing will be discussed.

Grade 5: We will begin our argumentative writing paper.  The students and I will be researching “Should social media be banned for teens?” and then writing a paper arguing for or against.  We will be doing all of the work together and in class.

Vocab Quiz 6 will be Friday.
