This week we will be focusing on the following topics:

ELA-  We will continue to read from our read-aloud The Holiday Concert by Andrew Clements.  Our skill for the week is problem and solution. We will be working out of a scholastic story-works this week.

Math- This week we will finish Chapter 6, Fractions. As always, reteach pages will be posted on google classroom for additional practice. Please continue to work on fact fluency at home. We will have a math quiz on Wednesday and the Math test on Thursday.

Social Studies- This week we will continue Chapter 3 from our S.S. textbook. We are also beginning our Black History Month Banner project. Each student will be choosing an individual to study, and will share their findings with the class.

Science– This week we will continue our unit of study: The Human Machine. We will be making a model of a finger, and learning about x-rays.

Religion- This week in religion we will be focusing on the Armor of God (Eph. 6:8-10), and be creating our own armor.

Please always reach out if you have any questions or concerns. The best way to reach me is through talking points, and I am looking forward to an amazing week learning with an amazing class.

Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),  and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.  Ephesians 5: 8b-10
