Hello Parents! Another week closer to warmer weather! Please continue to complete the daily attestations upon arrival. Also, it is very important to keep a close eye on our Classdojo! We post all important information on there along with any upcoming activities we have planned.
We are now starting our last theme, Theme 8 Unit 1 “Going New Places”. BIG Idea: I am ready to go to new places. Knowledge Focus: Children reflect on all the ways they have grown and changed during the year. Social-Emotional Focus: Persistence. The theme vocabulary words include: travel, trip and visit. Math vocabulary words include: behind, left, position and right.
We have officially finished learning the alphabet! We will now be reviewing letters A-Z, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. We will be reading the books “In Our Country”, “We’re Going on a Lion Hunt”, “Can You Say Peace?” and “You and Me Together”. We will be keeping a close eye on our caterpillars as they continue to grow along with our bean greenhouses! We will be creating a caterpillar hand craft and a butterfly symmetry project. Lastly, we will virtually visit a butterfly farm!
We have officially started practicing for our Graduation Program! Keep an eye out for further details of our program. As of right now, 6 people are invited in to celebrate.
For Jesus Time, Mrs. Gonzalez will discuss the story of Timothy. We will continue to sing our Jesus time songs and pray before snack and lunch.
