Hello Parents! I hope everyone enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend. I know I am still loving this warm weather. Please remember to continue to complete the daily attestations upon arrival.
Reminder – There is no school Monday, May 30th.
We are ending Theme 8 unit 4 “We’re Big Now!” This will be our last unit in our entire curriculum! BIG Idea: Look at what I can do now. Knowledge Focus: Children reflect on all the ways they have grown and changed during the year. Social-Emotional Focus: Persistence. The theme vocabulary words include: kindergarten, practice, proud, succeed and success. Math vocabulary words include: heavier, heavy, light, lighter and weight.
We are continuing to review letters A-Z, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. We will be reading the books “Miss Kindergarten Gets Ready For Kindergarten”, “If You Take A Mouse To School” and “My New School”. We will be discussing birds and dinosaurs this week!
For Jesus Time, We will continue to pray before snack and lunch. We will also continue to practice our Graduation songs. Stay tuned on our Classdojo for more information! This year is flying by!
