Hello Parents! The weather has officially transitioned into Summertime! Summer is right around the corner and we are approaching the end of the year fast. Please remember to continue to complete the daily attestations upon arrival.
Reminder – This is a three day week! We will be meeting for our ECC Picnic at the Teddy Roosevelt Park on Thursday. There will be no school Friday due to Memorial Day Weekend. There is also no school Monday 5/30/22.
We are continuing Theme 8 and starting Unit 3 “I Can Do It!”. BIG Idea: I always try my best. Knowledge Focus: Children reflect on all the ways they have grown and changed during the year. Social-Emotional Focus: Persistence. The theme vocabulary words include: finish, goal and quit. Math vocabulary words include: left and take away.
We are continuing to review letters A-Z, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. We will be reading the books “Leo The Late Bloomer”, “The Little Engine That Could” and “Read and Rise”. We will also be letting our beautiful butterflies go on Wednesday!
We will be discussing Bees and backyard critters this week as well!
For Jesus Time, We will continue to pray before snack and lunch. We will also continue to practice our Graduation songs. Stay tuned on our Classdojo for more information! This year is flying by!
