Hello Parents! I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weeks are flying back and we are in the home stretch of the school year! As per Mrs. Leake, masks are not mandatory but still highly encouraged moving forward. Please continue to fill out the daily attestations upon arrival.
We are finishing up Theme 7 with our last unit 4 “The Seasons”. BIG Idea: I notice how the seasons change. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about the seasons and how they change. Social-Emotional Focus: Curiosity. The theme vocabulary words include: branches, fall, leaf, season, spring, summer, twigs and winter. Math vocabulary words include: pattern and repeat.
We will be finishing the alphabet this week with letter Zz, reviewing number 1-20, shapes and colors. We will be reading the books “The Apple Pie Tree”, “What Will The Weather Be?”, “What Makes The Seasons?”, “Look, Listen and Learn” and “Weather”. We will be finishing all Mother’s Day crafts and they will be sent home on Friday. We will be celebrating Cinco De Mayo on Thursday by making noise makers! For Jesus Time, Mrs. Gonzalez will discuss the story of Philip and the Ethiopian. We will continue to sing our Jesus time songs and pray before snack and lunch. We will also start practicing our graduation songs!
