Welcome to my new students and families.
This week we will be getting used to fifth grade routines and procedures.
We will take a brief math assessment and then starting our GO Math curriculum.
We are joining our Google Classrooms and getting used to bringing our charged chromebooks everyday.
We are discussing strategies of a good reader and are reading Diary of Greg Hefley’s Best Friend independently. We are beginning using our Reading Menu folders and will be writing a Bio Poem about ourselves. We will begin S.S. ch. 1. There is no test for ch. 1. We will be completing unit 1 in our vocabulary book. We have discussed our class verse for the year and will be beginning our unit on prayer.
