Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend and here is what is going on in science this week.
Earth Science (6th): This week we will begin working on Chapter 1. This week we will learn about the different branches of Earth Science and all about the scientific method. There will be a quiz next Tuesday (9/21) on sections 1 and 2.
Physical Science (7th): This week we will begin working on Chapter 1. In class we will talk about what physical science is and how it can relate to our every day life. We also will be going over the scientific methods and to why they are important when conducting an experiment. There will be a quiz next Tuesday (9/21) on sections 1 and 2.
Life Science (8th): This week we will begin working on Chapter 1. This week in class we will be discussing what life science is all about. We also will be discussing the importance of the scientific method as well as scientific models. There will be a quiz Friday (9/17) on sections 1 and 2.
Living Environment (8th honors): This week in class we will be working on Chapter 1. In Chapter 1 we will discuss what science is and why it is important. We also go over the scientific method and why it is important to study living things. In lab this week we will go over lab safety and why it is important. The quiz on Chapter 1 is Thursday (9/16)
