I hope everyone had a relaxing winter recess.
Earth Science: There will be a vocabulary quiz Friday 2/26 on the words from Chapter 9. This week we be talking about volcanoes. We will discuss how they erupt, the effects of volcanic eruptions, as well as what causes the eruptions.
Physical Science: There will be a vocabulary quiz Friday 2/26 on the words from Chapter 12. This week we will be learning about the basics of the periodic table. We will discuss how how the elements are arranged and also how they are grouped.
Life Science: There will be a vocabulary quiz Friday 2/26 on the words from Chapter 10. This week we will continue to discuss bacteria and what it’s role is in the world today. We will also begin to discuss viruses and how they affect the world today.
Living Environment: This week in class we will discuss classification and how we find order in diversity. We also will talk about fossil records and what the patterns and processes of evolution are. There will be a quiz Wednesday 3/3 on Chapters 18 & 19. The test on Unit 5 will be March 9th. Please make sure to begin creating your review sheets for this.
