There will be a vocabulary test on Unit 3 on Friday, October 30. Much of the homework will be vocabulary.
6th Grade ELA: Students will continue to read and discuss the novel, Freak the Mighty. We will explore resolution and theme by the end of the week. Hopefully we will finish the book. We will review Apostrophe.
7th Grade ELA: The seventh graders are continuing to read and discuss the novel The Wednesday Wars. When we get to the February chapter, we will see a video of Romeo and Juliet and talk about how it applies to the novel. We will review the apostrophe.
8th Grade ELA: Students in eighth grade will finish their novel, The Outsiders. We will discuss symbolism and theme. The apostrophe will be reviewed.
7th Grade Religion: We are still working on Unit 2. This week we will explore the Reformation and Martin Luther’s call for reform. There will be a memory quiz on Tuesday.
