There will be a vocabulary test on unit 12 on Friday, March 6th. Much of the homework is vocabulary.
6th Grade ELA: We are reading our novel of the month The Cay. We are looking at the characters and what motivates them. We will have reading responses on Tuesday-Chapters 1-10
7th Grade ELA: The seventh graders have started their novel of the month, Stargirl. We are discussing being unique and not following the crowd. Students are also looking at character traits. We will have a reading response on Tuesday, Chapters 1-10
8th Grade ELA: The students are going to the Nassau County Tolerance and Memorial Center. We will discuss the trip. We will begin our book of the month, Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl. Students will discuss setting and characters.
7th Grade Religion: Students will have a memory quiz on Thursday. We have been discussing baptism, which is predominant in Unit 7.
