Grade 6 ELA: We are going to start prepositions and prepositional phrases. Students will have a quiz on readings from The Watson’s go to Birmingham, 1963, done in class. We will discuss the conflict in the novel, so far. This week we are going to continue reading the novel.

Grade 7 ELA: Seventh grade is going to review prepositions. They will have a quiz on readings from Fever 1793, which were done in class. We will continue to read from the novel.

Grade 8 ELA: The students in eighth grade will discuss how the refugees from Vietnam settled in the United States after the fall of Saigon. We will begin reading Inside Out and Back Again and review Prepositions.

Grade 7 Religion: This week, students are going to work on a project about song lyrics and how they can influence us in a bad way. There will be a memory quiz on Thursday on John 1:14.
