Students should select a novel for a book project. The February book is due on Wednesday, March 3rd. Please remember I have plenty of books in my classroom.
6th Grade ELA: Students in 6th grade are going to review the types of conflict in literature and The Watsons Go To Birmingham. They will write an essay on a theme from the novel. Students will look at how to connect and /or correct sentence fragments and run on sentences.
7Th Grade ELA: We are working on finishing the novel, Fever. When we are done we will review essay writing and complete an essay on a theme of the novel. We will work on sentences and how to correct them.
8th Grade ELA: The eighth graders are going to read two short stories. They will discuss the similarities and differences. Students will work on connecting and correcting sentences.
7th Grade Religion: We Will have a memory quiz this depending on the day we return to school. This week students will work on a project of their choice.
