There Will be as vocabulary test Unit 11- on Friday, April 23.
6th Grade ELA: This week we are going to be working on run on sentences and how to fix them. In connection with social studies, we will be reading a story- The Dog of Pompeii. If time permits, we will write a letter. We will review literary terms and students will have a lit quiz on Wednesday, April 21.
7th Grade ELA: The seventh graders will be working on how to fix run on sentences. We will have a quiz on literary terms on Wednesday, April 21. We will read a short story and talk about surprise and ironic endings.
8th Grade ELA; We will be working on a project about Japanese internment. Afterwards we will read, “Prisoner of My Country,” written by a Japanese American who was incarcerated in one camp with her family.
7th Grade Religion: We will be reviewing for a religion test on Wednesday, April 21. We will begin unit 7 on Friday.
