STUDENTS ARE TO SELECT A BOOK FOR NOVEMBER FOR INDEPENDENT READING. THE BOOK PROJECT IS DUE DECEMBER THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3.
6TH GRADE ELA: This week the students in sixth grade will review how to write an essay. They will work on two compare and contrast essays. Adjectives will be studied this week. The students will read a short story called “Stray” and will finish up the week by completing a small project using adjectives and the short story.
7TH GRADE ELA: We are in the middle of the novel The Wednesday Wars. Students will be required to read at home this week, as well as work on their adjectives.
8TH GRADE ELA: The eighth graders are finishing up the novel, The Outsiders. They will write a compare and contrast essay on two characters of their choice later in the week. Students will work on adjectives.
7TH GRADE RELiGION: During this week students will review unit 2 for a test on Tuesday, November 10. We will have a memory quiz on Tuesday, November 4 on Galatians 2:20 The new memory quiz schedule for November- December will be posted on google classroom on Monday.
