6th Grade ELA: This week we are continuing to work on proper nouns and capitalization. The students are finishing a short story and will read two more this week. We will work on characterization as well as exposition. Additionally, the class will begin the book to read for October- The Watsons Go to Birmingham.

7th Grade ELA: The seventh graders will finish a short story they started on Friday and then study exposition. They will review nouns and capitalization. The students will begin projects on William Shakespeare to begin working on their in class book- The Wednesday Wars.

8th Grade ELA : The students in eighth grade will begin projects studying the 1960s. This will help them prepare for the setting of their October book- The Outsiders. We will also look at characterization.

7th Grade Religion:
We are finishing unit 1 this week. Once we finish, we will review for a unit test sometime next week. The students have a memory quiz on verse Timothy 3:16-7
