Summer Reading Projects were due on Friday, September 18. Please check the grade book or your email to see if your child turned in this requirement.
This week we will be working on our vocabulary. Much of the homework will be vocabulary Unit 1. There will be a vocabulary test on Friday, September 25th.
6th Grade: Last week we wrote our autobiography. This week we will work on a narrative. We will continue to review nouns and edit incorrect sentences. We will read a short story, “Greyling” at the end of the week.
7th Grade: Students are going to work on a narrative this week. They will review nouns and edit incorrect sentences. We will read a short story, “Papa’s Parrot.”
8th Grade: We are finishing our unit on Civl War literature. The students will write an essay comparing and contrasting the characters in the children’s book- Pink and Say. The class will review nouns and edit sentences.
7th Grade Religion: After a class discussion we will have our memory quizzes on Tuesday. They are listed on Google classroom. We are still working on unit 1.
