Kindergarten-2nd Grade

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • For remoting students:
    • I will recognize foods that promote good health.
    • I will recognize that physical activity is good for emotional and mental health.
    • I will identify physical activities that I like and that are challenging.
    • I will practice tossing and catching safely and with control.
    • For in school students:
    • I will learn the basics of rhythm and how music informs and enhances the movement experience.
  • For our Social Emotional Learning class, we will be learning how to make helpful choices at school.

3rd Grade-5th Grade

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • For remoting students:
    • I will recognize foods that promote good health
    • I will recognize that physical activity is good for emotional and mental health.
    • I will identify physical activities that I like and that are challenging.
    • I will practice basic juggling skills.
    • For in school students:
    • I will learn the skills and develop confidence to enjoy dance.
  • For our Social Emotional Learning class, we will be learning:
    • Third Grade:
      • how to make helpful choices at school
    • Fourth & Fifth Grade
      • about assertiveness

Middle School

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • For remote students:
    • I will recognize foods that promote good health and be able to build balanced meals and snacks.
    • I will stay positive and optimistic when faced with challenges.
    • I will identify physical activities that I like and that are challenging.
    • I will practice juggling skills.
    • For in school students:
    • I will develop personal enjoyment, social engagement, and appreciation for all movement forms and reinforce dance skills and concepts.
  • In Social Emotional Learning class (6th Grade), we will be reviewing the four different types of conflict
  • 7th Grade Health will be learning about saying “no”.
