Kindergarten-2nd Grade

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • I will recognize that physical activity is important for good physical health.
    • I will recognize that physical activity is good for emotional and mental health.
    • I will identify physical activities that I like and are good for my overall health.
    • I will practice moving safely with balance and control.
  • If you emailed me about interest in the Intramural Program, keep an eye out for emails concerning the schedule and permission form.
  • For our Social Emotional Learning class, we learned how to identify and express feelings.

3rd Grade-5th Grade

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • I will discuss the components of the FITT principle.
    • I will practice mindful breathing.
    • I will create fitness challenges using activities that I enjoy and provide a challenge.
    • I will move safely with control at a variety of intensity levels.

Middle School

  • These are our Learning Targets for this week:
    • I will analyze the health benefits of my physical activity choices.
    • I will practice mindful breathing.
    • I will create fitness challenges using activities that I enjoy and enhance my health.
    • I will pace my activity intensity and work with my heart rate in the heart health zone.
  • In Social Emotional Learning class (6th Grade), we learned about Self Talk.
  • 7th Grade Health learned about making healthy choices.
    • Journal 2 is due 10/6 by 8:30am
    • The Health Policy is on Google Classroom. The signed form is due back to me on Google Classroom by November 2nd at 8:30am.
