Last week we learned about Tundra Animals. This week we will complete Mother Goose Time’s Ice Castle unit. This week we will explore lessons 16-20, Life in the Arctic. Indigenous peoples have lived in the Arctic for thousands of years. This week we will learn how people live today in the cold temperatures and what they need to survive. We will explore the North Pole, arctic gear, arctic shelter and arctic transportation.
The children will get to ride the tricycles in the little gym this week. If you would like for your child to wear a helmet during this activity. please send one to school clearly labeled with your child’s name on it.
This week we will be participating in Lutheran Schools week. We have a number of Christ centered activities. In addition, please mark your calendars that this Friday, January 29th there will be no school. We are closed for parent teacher conferences.
