It is hard to believe that we have completed two full weeks of school. The children have come a long way already and have all adjusted well to the school routine. I am amazed at how well a class of three year olds manages to keep their masks on for most of the school day.
This week we will cover lessons 11 – 15 of Mother Goose Time Curriculum: “Wonder About Clothing”. Throughout this week, the children will investigate clothing, build their vocabulary and strengthen their motor skills while they explore how they use clothing in their everyday routines. A simple investigation of clothing invites children to build confidence with self- help skills. Children also work on their fine motor skills when learning how to work buttons and laces.
In addition to the unit on clothing, we will emphasize the concepts of: letter Hh, Triangles and the basic colors. We will discuss the season of Fall and it’s changes as well. We will also learn a few of our classic Jesus Time songs.
